Parenting is anything but easy. It is often the most satisfying responsibility anyone can undertake and yet it tends to frustrate us at times. Through my personal experience, I have realized that it was important but hard to find a good balance between adapting to a new culture , maintain some aspects of my own culture and give some credit to the tons of research done regarding various aspects of a child’s life. I have appreciated the diverse schools of thoughts and yet every inch of my body gets challenged – signalling to me that if I am sweating for it, I am probably doing something right.

Thankfully S and I have been either on the same page with most parenting related issues (or projects as we often call them) or have been able to reach some common ground, eventually.
